What to enjoy in August in Argyll ?
The Summer is upon us, with all the holiday visitors around, giving the area a real buzz.
More and more events are planned and these are a great way to enjoy yourself.
Or you can take yourself off to an island, a beach, a forest, up a hill and get away from everyone

West Highland Week continues with the yachts racing for Oban from Craobh Haven, setting up at Kerrara Marina, Dunstaffnage Marina, and the pontoons in Oban itself. The short race to Lismore, around the Creags and back is always thrilling. Then the longer leg to Tobermory for a couple of days before returning to Oban.
If you have friends and family who are sailing, Kintaline is a perfect base for you to support them whilst enjoying the pleasures of the land ! And if they are not all required to sail home, they can join you.
Lorn Agricultural Show is on the First Saturday of August .. and a fabulous day out as the poster shows. Currently it is held so close to the house on Tralee Beach .. if you do not want to go to the show take the left out of the drive to go by Barcaldine Castle to avoid all the traffic 🙂
