Our local farmers produce delicious meat of many species, along with local vegetable and egg producers with unique road side honesty boxes.

The digital guidebook that booked guests receive has more details of producers for you to book ahead, and plan stops in your day trips. All links are provided with the advice you need to check for the latest information with the owners.
On the farm here at Kintaline, my free range hens produce the most delicious eggs, and you will get some in the house welcome pack.

Forest Field and Glen is very local and can supply fresh venison to the door. Their facebook page is updated frequently - and Amanda also delivers to many local shops, including our wonderful Pink Shop in the village, which is a very well supplied local supermarket that has most things you might need.

Within walking distance is the award winning Tralee Fish and chips - just a little further is Hawthorn Restaurant; in the village is the wonderful Ben Lora Cafe renowned home baking and stone baked pizza, and Michelin starred Isle of Eriska hotel welcome non residents to their very fine dining, only a couple of miles along the road. Apologies that these are facebook pages, but that is the best place for up to date news in these changing times. Some also have their own websites.
Just north at their "farm gate" chill box, on the main road you can pick up VERY VERY fresh oysters straight out of the water of Loch Creran, Caledonia Oysters also supply many of our local restaurants and outlets, like the world renowned Seafood hut on Oban pier.

Afternoon tea at the Castle is just a mile along the road - with Barcaldine Castle offering a unique experience. There are also many local bakers, with road side goodies to find as you travel about (see map) including Heritage Bakehouse, whose sour dough bakery is under a mile away, producing delicious sour dough breads several times a week, ask nicely and Tracey will deliver to the door.

The Oban Food hub (weekly online click and collect service) welcomes visitors to place orders, and our wonderful meat and fish producers sell here, as well as preserves, biscuits, and drinks are available. I can collect an order on Thursday before your visit (including chilled and frozen goods), as well as the following Thursday being a great way to buy scrumptious gifts for your friends and family and treats for yourselves as reminders of your holiday.
