Jill is an excellent host with an amazing house.
It’s clean, tidy, well designed and has everything you could need- the kitchen is particularly well stocked if you want to cook.

very kind, welcoming, responsive host who advises many activities in the
area, especially depending on the weather. Having stayed in the winter,
evenings by the fire with a hot chocolate are well appreciated!

Beautiful House surrounded by stunning countryside. Our host Jill couldn’t have been any more accommodating. She was so thoughtful & helpful, by far the best place to stay, it has everything you could want/need for every kind of holiday. Would highly recommend.
The Kintaline House is a fabulous property, which has absolutely everything you need or want.
It’s a thoroughly modern home but has all the charm of an older home.
Jill is a wonderful host, she gave us great dining recommendations and offered local events to go to in addition to all the touristy places.
She met us on our arrival and graciously showed us all the features of the home and was extremely responsive to any needs or questions we had.
She also gifted us a lovely welcome basket of items we could use and enjoy. There were more things to do in the area than we had time for.
This is an awesome place if you’re looking for something convenient to Oban, the islands and Glencoe and so much more!

Attractive, comfortable, spacious house fitted-out to the highest standard
We really enjoyed our stay at Kintaline House. The house was wonderfully spacious, appealingly designed, impeccably clean, and fitted out to the highest standard, especially the kitchen. It was tastefully decorated and full of the owner’s family’s books and objects d’art. We were there in August so didn’t need to use the heating much, but the heating system was fully available and working when needed for our elderly parents, and there was plenty of hot water for washing, using a number of environmentally-friendly systems. There was a proactive approach to good environmental practise and recycling. The owner was friendly and helpful throughout our visit and tactfully allowed us to have our own privacy. Outside, the secluded garden was equally impressive with corners for quiet sitting to admire the restrained plantings or bird feeders; and a larger lawn area with table and chairs and barbecue equipment. There was no farming, commercial, or hospitality noise during the day or night, just light traffic on a nearby minor road, so there was always a peaceful and calm atmosphere. By the end of the week, we felt it had been a privilege to experience Kinatline House and use it as a base to explore the beautiful and fascinating surrounding region.
Roomy and well appointed!
Tucked away in Benderloch, Kintaline House offers peace and tranquility in a serene country setting. Nothing was too much trouble for our hostess, Jill. She saved the day one morning when our guests lost their ride from the airport! Kitchen was top notch, with everything you needed and more, and all in spotless condition! We loved the sunroom, especially.we had the luxury of spending a month at Kintaline, and thoroughly enjoyed our surroundings.
Excellent property, it’s spotlessly clean and lots of good amenities. The kitchen is very well stocked if you want to cook. It’s a huge space and all of the separate seating spaces are great, especially if there are 6 guests; living room, conservatory, dining area, mezzanine, garden. Great location too, just 15 minute drive to Oban and the house feels peaceful and secluded. Jill was an excellent host, very responsive and made us feel very welcome on arrival. Highly recommended and I’m sure we’ll be back.
This is excellent accommodation. Comfortable and very well equipped. We loved it, we saw deer in the garden. It is a peaceful place to stay.
This was a lovely house and a great place to stay. A spacious house, well maintained, very well equipped kitchen (a true home from home) and a lovely secluded garden that is pleasant to sit in. Surrounding scenery and nearby beach (5 minute walk) are a bonus.
Jill's house is a really beautiful house in a really beautiful location. The house is full of features, it seems everything has been thought of and provided for, and Jill was easily available if we needed to ask anything. We all had a lovely time and would highly recommend a stay there.
Kintaline House exceeded our expectations. The comfort, the beautiful furnishings, the size of the rooms and the location in Benderloch surprised us very positively. The garden is designed into a little paradise. The conservatory is embedded in it and there is always something new to discover. The hostess Jill has prepared everything very well for guests, including ideas for excursions and suggestions for sightseeing. She was happy to answer our questions. Arrival and departure were uncomplicated. We are happy to recommend the wonderful stay at Kintaline House.
Kintaline House is a truly special place. Thoughtful details throughout. Our hostess, Jill couldn’t do enough for us. She was attentive and helpful in so many ways. And I do miss her fresh eggs!!,
Truly wonderful. Lovely house with charm and character and every facility. The kitchen is really well equipped. Good lighting. Plenty of space. A great place for friends and family to congregate. Jill is so helpful. Price is wholly reasonable.

The house is every bit as beautiful as we’d been led to believe by the website photos; it’s also comfortable, well-stocked (no need to bring reading material!) and spacious. And thank you to Jill, for being a welcoming, friendly and helpful host.
Our stay at Kintaline house exceeded all our hopes. The house is excellent and very well equipped. It also has a lovely garden that we enjoyed. Our host Jill was very helpful and answered any questions we had throughout our stay. The location is perfect - close to a sandy beach, islands, mountains and also to Oban. We would strongly recommend Kintaline to anyone looking for a good holiday in a peaceful location close to all that the Scottish west coast has to offer.

The house and garden were beautiful and well maintained. Benderloch feels rural, with beautiful countryside nearby, but is still handy for Oban with all its amenities.
We had a lovely week in this great property. Jill was an excellent host and provided us with a well prepared Covid19 compliant house. There were a number of nice touches with local cheese, biscuits and preserves as well eggs provided. The property is within easy reach of all the main tourist attractions, with some lovely walks within a reasonable distance from the house. We would highly recommend this property.
A wonderful place to stay to visit this beautiful part of the world. We were made very welcome, and the house is so roomy, warm and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped, making self-catering easy. The beach is only a 20 minute walk away. We thoroughly recommend this for your holiday 'home from home.'
What a lovely house and garden. It’s situated just north of Oban (about 10 minutes) and there are plenty of things to do. Carry out food available from a number of restaurants nearby, and if you want to make your own there is a really well appointed kitchen. The owner was also very helpful. There was milk, preserves, cheese and biscuits supplied, delicious!
Kintaline house was the perfect destination for a week in Argyll. The house itself is beautiful inside , spacious and airy as the design allows light to come in from all sides. Everything was sparkling clean . We were very fortunate with the weather and only lit the log burner one evening but it soon warmed the house through very cosy. Jill the owner seems to have thought of everything and is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. A lovely relaxing week
