August is a fun month for Games and Agricultural Shows
Lorn Agricultural Show kicks off the month on the first Saturday located at Tralee beach, just a short walk from the house. If you get out sharpish you can do a tour of the showground, see some showing, enjoy breakfast on the move Then scoot down the road to Lochgilphead to the Celtic and Pictish festival on the Green. Stalls, displays, living history, reenactment, crafts and food. Or get settled for the show, where there is activities to keep you entertained all day. Even busier is the Appin Show a couple of weeks later. Unsurpassed in variety of attractions, yet each year they outdo themselves. Regular events like Bookends, Oban Farmers and Craft market,
