The spacious double height timber lined open plan living space has light flooding in from all directions.
Electric central heating, complemented by the wood burning stove, along with triple glazing and high levels of insulation makes the house very cosy.Tranquility, comfort, peace and quiet, and HOME, are words our guests have used to described the house..
It is the perfect place to relax, read, craft, listen to music, even binge watch your favourite TV.
The large smart television has Netflix, Amazon, iplayer, youtube etc ready for your account details.
Dining room
The dining room seats the 6 of you easily, there are 2 spare chairs complete with the names of Jill's mother and aunt as the set came from their old childhood school. The kitchen has plenty of crockery, glasses and serving dishes for you to enjoy cooking the wonderful raw materials of fish, shellfish, meat and vegetables of the area. We even have local micro breweries.Conservatory
Large double glass doors in the sitting room open up to the roomy conservatory that is a lovely space to read, play games, watch the skies or the birds outside .. with a door out to the large private mature garden. A chess set and other games are left for your pleasure, and swopped out between each set of guests. There is plenty of seating area wrapping around the room, as well as several tables and chairs to enjoy your lunch in the sunshine.
Study area
Upstairs on the galleried balcony is a delightful quiet reading or working spot, complete with desk, armchair and lots more books. The Scrabble board is set ready for a welcome game - there is wifi throughout the house, but old fashioned games have their place in unwinding.Hall
The front door opens to the double height hall, that leads through the house to the open plan living area, and up the timber stairs.A table of useful information, coat and boot racks are just inside.
The downstairs toilet is off to the right after the kitchen door.
