It has been less than a week since the Clupper Race ships left Oban for the last race to Portsmouth.

Yesterday was the end of the 11 months of incredible sailing, in becalmed conditions off the south coast !! The veey BEST news is that our own Team Scotland sponsored by Oban Whisky, Brand Scotland and other local / Scottish organisations CAME THIRD OVERALL. an amazibg result, and soo proud of them all. Now looking forward to the Clipper Race 2027 - 2028 - with all new ships - bigger, new design, new crews. A whole new fleet of Clipper RX ships are befinning trials ready for August 2027 And a new fellow host port for potential the start of the Oban Argyll leg at St Johns Newfoundland.
