From the moment we arrived, Jill made us feel so welcome. She is a wonderful host, kind, thoughtful, and always helpful. The basket of local goodies waiting for us was such a lovely touch, and throughout our stay it was the little things that stood out. Midway through our visit, while the house was being refreshed, we came back after a rather cold day exploring the Isles to find the fire all prepared and ready to light!! The house itself is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need, but what makes it special is the charm and coziness that so many rentals seem to have lost. It feels loved and lived in, like a real home. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, but still close to beaches, Oban, Highlands, Loch Lomond, numerous historical places, castles and everything you want to explore. We also really appreciated how welcoming and inclusive Jill was with our family. She invited our kid to see the moth trap, which they loved, and she respected their chosen names and pronouns. It says a lot about the kind of person she is. Kintaline House has that special something that makes leaving genuinely difficult and makes you wish it was yours.
